Company-wide scheduling with transparency at every stage

Strenger is a property developer headquartered in Ludwigsburg, which implements residential construction projects from five locations across Germany. From serial townhouses to high-quality condominiums.

Strenger uses lcmd as central planning software throughout all project phases. - From project development to purchasing and awarding to production and acceptance.

Processes, dependencies and responsibilities are therefore visible at all times: This makes daily prioritization easier for all parties involved, creates commitment within the project team and provides management with reliable reporting at all times.

From Excel & scheduling sessions to standards, 1-click cycle planning & multi-project management

Before Strenger lcmd as a company-wide software solution had introduced, project management and cycle planning were partly carried out using Excel. Changes had to be incorporated extensively, appointments were an integral part of everyday life and the plan was checked analogously on site several times a week.

The goal was clear: more standards, less manual work and planning that reflected changes more quickly.

With lcmd, Strenger is developing today reusable process chains, standard clock trains and checklists for terraced houses and apartment buildings that are transfer to new projects with just one click leave. In the whiteboard are the clock trains maintained and directly in the process plan taken over. The structure and process are therefore immediate.

This saves setup time, reduces coordination costs and makes improvements such as leaner procurement processes scalable across all projects.

Joint management with partners & multi-project reporting

Strenger does not use lcmd as an isolated solution, but as company-wide management instrument.

Coordinated by the Lean Lead, project management, purchasing and construction management are actively working in lcmd. Become external partners in Workshops integrated and maintained phase-related read access: Planners see the project development phase, subcontractors and craftsmen see the production phase. Strenger calls this principle “One company concept”.

Cooperation is closely coordinated. On the basis of the process plan, checklists and stored tasks, project developers and planners discuss the current status on a weekly basis, clarify outstanding issues and derive specific execution deadlines from this. In the event of discrepancies, it is decided together whether deadlines will be adjusted or new assumptions made.

Strenger is currently testing the new lcmd multi-project dashboard. In particular, the view of Milestone variances compared to the continuing existing Baseline view It is met with great enthusiasm. The dashboard shows management at a glance which projects deviate from plan and which countermeasures are necessary to get the schedule back on track.

What Strenger particularly appreciates about lcmd:

  • The project status is transparent at all times. All participants can see at a glance where the project is and what's next
  • Processes, dependencies and responsibilities are clearly visualized, which significantly saves time in everyday life and simplifies coordination
  • Template projects allow standards, checklists and process chains to be consistently incorporated into new projects without starting from scratch every time
  • Standard clock trains in the whiteboard bring proven processes into the process plan with one click and thus speed up the entire project setup and further planning
  • Cooperation with the LCMD team: Quick availability and flexible support, even if something is pending at short notice

With lcmd, we always have clarity about where our projects stand. Processes, dependencies and responsibilities are visible at a glance. The biggest added value: We standardize our processes using template projects and get the appropriate timing steps straight from the whiteboard into the process plan. This significantly saves time in planning, reduces coordination and makes schedule discrepancies identified early on. - Both within the project team and in reporting to management. And if there is something at short notice, the lcmd team is extremely quick and pragmatic in providing support.
